Marian E. Wieck, age 93, of Janesville died Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg, WI. Marian was born on November 16, 1923 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Clifford and Mary (Jacobson) Clayton. She graduated from Beloit Memorial High School. She married Marvin L. Wieck on October 20, 1945 in Beloit. Marian was formerly employed as a secretary at Beloit Corporation. She and her husband were Beloit residents until moving to Janesville. Marian was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Janesville.
Surviving are her son, David L. (Carol) Wieck, granddaughters, Shanna, Kristin, Jessica, Nicole, great-grandchildren, Ella Magnuson, Alice Magnuson, Fiona Eggers, her son-in-law, Jim Povlich, grandson, Jason Povlich, granddaughter, Michelle Povlich, great-grandchild, Zoe Plemmons and dear friends, Beverly and Don Wagner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin who died July 8, 2002, her daughter, Christine Marie Povlich, her parents, and her brother, Donald Clayton.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 2940 Mineral Point Avenue, Janesville. Rev. Michael Schulz will officiate. Visitation will be at the church Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery, Beloit. Henke-Clarson Funeral Home is assisting the family
